Sandra Ferreira
Sandra Ferreira has been a teacher, manager, and leader in various fields, primarily in Education and Mental Health Advocacy. She holds an Honours Degree in Educational Management and is an expert by experience. Her experience spans 20 years, and she is currently the Global Network Manager for the Global Mental Health Peer Network (GMHPN). Sandra heads up the P2P mentorship, education & empowerment unit of the GMHPN, as well as the Youth Agents for Change (YA4C) & Peer Support (Benchwarmers) units. Sandra is actively involved in various global mental health initiatives and projects within research and policy and sits on several international advisory boards. Sandra’s particular area of interest and advocacy centres around Human Rights in Mental Health and alternatives to coercion.
