Laura E. Bond

I have experience leading applied research and international development programs in Lesotho, Afghanistan, India, Northeast Nigeria, and Sierra Leone. My research interests and subject matter expertise focus on child protection and mental health and psychosocial support programs in low-resource communities. I am interested in strategies for training and supervising non-specialist providers to deliver evidence-based interventions in local communities, and program design and evaluation approaches using mixed methods. I am passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice and ensuring that agencies have reliable data to measure quality, assess effectiveness, and design programs to respond to identified needs.
