Galia Moran
Dr. Galia Moran is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) in Beersheba, Israel. She serves as the Head of the Graduate Mental Health Track, where she leads training programs focused on psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery. A licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Moran's research interests encompass peer support, recovery-oriented services, and positive psychology in the context of severe mental illness. She has contributed to international studies, including the UPSIDES project, which aims to develop and implement peer support interventions across diverse settings.
