Cláudia Sartor

Cláudia Sartor is the Deputy CEO of the Global Mental Health Peer Network (GMHPN) and a prominent leader in global mental health advocacy. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Cláudia has dedicated her career to advancing holistic wellness, workplace mental health, and lived experience expertise frameworks. Over recent years, she has increasingly focused on the integration of lived experience into global mental health research, recognizing the critical role of firsthand experiences in developing impactful mental health initiatives.

At GMHPN, Cláudia leads the Experts by Experience Consultancy Services Unit, where all services are delivered exclusively by individuals with lived experience. In addition to her work in consultancy, Cláudia serves as a guest lecturer at universities globally, engaging students and faculty on the value of lived experience. Through her articles and advocacy, Cláudia consistently emphasizes the transformative impact of lived experience expertise across all areas of mental health.
