Aimée DuBois

Psychologist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Specialist and Master in Psychopathology and Mental Health from IUSAM - Psychoanalytic Association of Buenos Aires. She has been working for more than 15 years in the field of community mental health, in order to overcome the logic of asylum and creating spaces for treatment and life in freedom. From the space of public governance, she has promoted the change of the mental health model in Ecuador and the effort of a public policy aimed at deinstitutionalization. She has been a consultant on mental health, gender and human rights for different national and international organizations. She has been the director of Huertomanías since 2015.
